How Compare2 works
Setup
- You fill in the Compare2 design form. It includes the name of your product or service, the names of your competition (up to six) and the criteria your customers use when making a purchase decision.
- You commit to a license plan.
- We review your Compare2 information and, if needed, suggest improvements.
- We post your content in Compare2 for you to test
- You approve the content.
- We supply you with a button to add to your web pages (or a URL if you want to make up your own button).
- You add the button to your web site where ever you want and however many times you want.
Use
- Your Prospective Customers (YPCs) click the button
- An Internet Explorer browser page opens with your evaluation in Compare2
- YPCs choose which competitor to evaluate relative to you (they can evaluate one or evaluate them all, one at a time). They:
- Drag and drop to enter their criteria rank
- Drag and drop dots to enter their comparison evaluations
- Type (optional) their rationale
- Type (optional) ideas for other criteria
- We collect data on our server
- YPC optionally asks for comparison to others and We display this infomation.
- YPC optionally requests report and gets one in html format
Reporting
- We generate monthly report and send it to you. It includes
- Number of prospective customers who evaluated your product relative to each competitor
- Importance statistics (all or last 50, whichever is higher)
- Evaluation statistics (All or last 50, whichever is higher)
