Accord Manager is powerful collaboration software that helps groups work effectively and efficiently before, during, and after meetings. In technical terms, Accord Manager works better than any known asynchronous collaboration technology. A patented Belief Map messaging and analysis technology transforms any group's uncertainty and conflict into a clearly actionable result. Belief Maps advantages are:

  • Request Only — Only collect desired inputs that support group objectives
  • Easy and Flexible — Use only one simple user interface to support all objectives
  • Qualified — Easily identify and manage guesses, exaggerations, and fabrications
  • Justified — Know the reason “why?” to support better analysis and accountability

An Accord Manager screen shot is shown below.  Region "1" is the Belief Map that shows what the eight collaborators in this dashboard think about quality of one of six products. Belief Maps collect what market research professionals call "two dimensional" information that qualifies all inputs for certainty.

In the above dashboard, Region "2" shows the six alternatives being compared. The objective of comparison can be selection of the best alternatives or reporting the status of independent alternatives such as projects. Region "3" shows the criteria or measures used to compare alternatives.  In this example, product quality, customer interest, and value pricing as the three measures used to compare the six alternatives.  Region "4" is where the members or participants in this collaboration are managed.

Accord Manager is a Java client program that interfaces with the Accord server for analysis purposes.  Non-Accord users participate in collaboration using the Accord Browser interface shown to the left. Accord Manager sends input request by email or by an integrated API that collects Belief Map data through other programs.

The Accord Browser advantage is simple data input without the need to purchase or install any software. In the following screenshot, Region "1" of Accord Browser is the Belief Map area where contributors provide inputs and optionally record the reason "why" for each input. Regions "2" and "3" are for alternative and criteria selection, respectively.
